I'm in the process of framing out walls in my basement as the first step to finishing it. I got this saw because the current circular saw I have has a short cord and I don't have great access to outlets in my basement, so I figured a battery operated saw was the way to go. I have gotten a few products from this company in the past and have been happy with how they have been working so far so I figured I would give this one a try. I wasn't disappointed.
This seems like a decent tool for the price. I have not used this a lot yet and will update this review if needed. I only used it to cut/shape a few sheets of plywood so far.
This is a great saw. I bought this over the similar atomic brushless Dewalt saw because it was cheaper, came with 3 blades, better battery and laser guideline which did not provide. I am not disappointed as it has plenty of power for a saw of this size. Only time will tell how reliable it is but so far so good. If I have any issues I‘’ll update my review. I email the company regarding the purchase of extra batteries and any available accessories but still awaiting their reply. I‘’m glad I made this purchase and am happy to add this to my tool collection.
Read a lot of the reviews for this saw and almost didn‘’t get it. SOOOO!! Glad I followed my own instinct! This saw is awesome! Cut a very accurate 15 degree edge on an 8ft 2x4 like a hot knife through butter. I bought it specifically to cut through 2x4‘’s because my 7 1/2‘’ circular saw weights a ton, this was The PERFECT alternative.

Cutting old bead board left in barn, my month old corded Bosch jig saw I planned to cut the curves could not get through the center lines, nor could my ten year old or more Black and Decker jigsaw, all with new blades for wood and metal. I decided to try my Ener, which had no problem cutting it, it never has a problem, and stays charged three days usually as much as I use it for everything from old fence board to wolmanized 2 by 6's stored under house for years. Its amazing on plywood too. The lazer is not as accurate but the saw itself is amazing and I'm so glad I took a chance on it.
